In the mine pit Raspotočje released into trial work wide mechanised complex

Total value of the investment of Elektroprivreda BiH , as the company's  dominat company  is more than  30 million  KM.
By realization of this project  Elektroprivreda BiH has fulfilled its commitment  to humanization and modernization work in mine pit Raspotočje   after  accident  in September 4, 2014. when were lost  5  workers and more than  30  were injured .
The machine wide frontal comlex in  Raspotočje  pit will produce daily  more than 1.000 tons of the coal  by  which are  achieved conditions for realization of planned annual  production  of  380.000 tons.
Thanks to such wide modern complex and the equipment  in pit Raspotočje  it  will be produced more than  50 % of total planned coal production  in coal mine Zenica .

 
 72  Years of  Elektroprivreda  BiH
 
JP Elektroprivreda BiH  Sarajevo celebrates  September 7, as Day of establishment of the company .  In legal and organizational terms , the beginning of  JP Elektroprivreda BiH  is related to the Regulation on the establishment of an Electric company of Bosnia and Herzegovina  „ElektroBiH“, from August 30, 1945. 
On July 21, 1993 Elektroprivreda BiH  harmonized its operation with the Law on public enterprises and  Law on electricity industry and continued  to  operate under the company public utility  Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine sa p.o., as a legal successor to the former public enterprise for electricty production , transmission and distribution  Elektroprivreda BiH and power companies that it established  .
In 2004 , the company was re-registered in a joint stock company since it operates under  the name Javno  preduzeće Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine d. d. - Sarajevo.
