EBRD granted to JP EPBiH a loan worth 35 million euros
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has granted to public company JP Elektroprivreda BiH a loan worth 35 million euro for implementation of construction of projects of hydro plant HPP “Vranduk” and rehabilitation and expansion of the capacity of HPP “ Una Kostela “ (Una-Sana canton) under favorable credit terms.
The credit was approved after all the necessary economic technical and environmental preconditions had been met .
From the approved amount for construction of HPP Vranduk 26 million euro are planned while for HPP „ Una Kostela“ are planned 9 million euro .
After the prior approval which was provided by the Government of FBiH for the credit indebtness in accordance with the Law on Debt, Borrowing and Guarantees in the FBiH also Parliament FBiH needs to consent.
